06/04/10 Ridings sports centre to reopen

A sports centre on the site of the former Ridings School which closed over fears that Legionnaires disease germs maybe in its water tanks is to reopen.

Calderdale Council said tests had found no contamination in the centres water, air conditioning and heating supplies.

New systems are in place to prevent the germs from developing in the future.
