18 Cases have been reported for february 2009. Two people have died a male 68 years old and a female aged 85 years old. A man working at the Leicester Water Centre, in Anstey Lane, Beaumont Leys, has been diagnosed with legionnaires disease. Fortunately the gentleman is being treated in hospital and is making a recovery, the health protection agency are currently investigating where he caught the disease.
