    18 Cases have been reported for february 2009. Two people have died a male 68 years old and a female aged 85 years old. Of the 18 cases 14 were reported as males aged 29 - 78 and 4 were females aged 22 - 85 years old. Six of the cases were community acquired and 1 was infected in hospital (nosocomial). ... read more

  • 01/04/09 Leicester Man Catches Legionnaires Disease

    A man working at the Leicester Water Centre, in Anstey Lane, Beaumont Leys, has been diagnosed with legionnaires disease.
