22/10/09 Care Home Closed after Legionella Bacteria Found

FELTHAM Dene care home has been shut after unacceptable levels of the bacteria that causes Legionnaires disease were found in the water supply.

The 34 elderly residents at the home in Spring Road have been moved to alternative accomodation while the Legionella bacteria is eliminated.
